Maxine Thompson

New Zealand born artist and tutor, Maxine Thompson has been recognised for her talent at depicting people and animals in life like pictures. See Maxine's web page.

Maxine has been named as master pastellist by the Pastel Society of Australia and has exhibited in many art shows and won many prizes and awards.

Cooktown School of Art Society members have attended art workshops conducted by Maxine and many been inspired to continue with pastels.
