Paintings by local artists in all styles, genres and mediums will be on display and for sale at venues through the town.

The Post Australian Festival of Chamber Music concert will feature artists fresh from their Townsville performances.

Singers and musicians 3pm to 6pm.
JAMES COOK MUSEUM SUNDAY NIGHT OF FUN
Lantern display in trees, Sunday night, with music, wine and finger food.




Rossville Glee Club, Winston Cabrall, Serge Pentlan and other musicians will perform from balcony.
Lanterns and art works displayed and for sale with stalls under trees, and in museum.
Food and wine served in main anchor room. Licenced.
Charge to cover food and wine. $10 any money remaining after purchase of food and wine to be donated to Museum.
DANCE
Dancing at various venues. Belly dancers. Young at Heart. Performance art.

Decorate a Bra in any manner you wish. A small entry fee will be charged for Bras entered in this competition with money going to Breast Cancer

These fun and unique art efforts will be auctioned with money going to Cooktown Endeavour Lions Club

Cooktown Art Festival showcases the wonderful work of local artists: painters, sculptors, wood carvers, potters, photographers; visual art in any medium, it will all be there!
JAMES COOK MUSEUM
Pots in the Chapel—The art of successful collaboration. Cooktown based potter, Graham Boyton and Cheryl Bell have developed a rare working relationship in the field of ceramic art. Inspired by the environment and isolation we have been working together with clay since 1990.
C.W.A. LADIES
Will have Tea, Coffee, sandwiches, cakes.
Sales of CWA, homemade jams, pickles & more.

The exhibitions are located throughout Cooktown. The art will be on show at various galleries, restaurants, museums, public halls and businesses; you can see more than just the art; take in the cultural diversity and spectacular attractions.
Guide maps will be available for self guided tours or you can take advantage of the shuttle bus service.
