Amanda Feher

Amanda Feher was the art judge for the Cooktown School of Art Society's 30th Annual Art Exhibition in 2008. This was also the 20th birthday of the Elizabeth Guzsely Gallery.

When we realsied Amanda is the niece of Elizabeth Guzsely (nee Feher) we were especially pleased to have her as a judge.

Amanda was born in Atherton and comes from an artistic Hungarian family of portrait and landscape painters.

She completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts with Honours James Cook University in Townsville.

Amanda works in a range of mediums including marble, copper, steel, wax, fibre and bronze; to oils, acrylics, charcoal, illustration, photographic and computer modified images.

She has been to Carrara, Italy and worked with the famed marble and hopes to return one day.
